WILDLIFE IMMERSION. QUIET COMFORT. UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES.

Hospitality • Leisure • Experiential Design

Conceptualised as a nature-led resort in Sasan Gir, Gujarat, home to the Asiatic lion, the project seeks to create a distinctive hospitality experience for wildlife enthusiasts. Thoughtfully oriented spaces offer immersive views of the surrounding forest, bringing guests closer to nature while maintaining a sense of comfort, privacy, and tranquillity.

The design aspires to balance the thrill of the wilderness with the serenity of a restorative retreat, creating a meaningful connection between hospitality and the natural environment.

KEY MOVES

WHAT SHAPED THE OUTCOME

Three defining design strategies guide the spatial planning, relationship with the forest, and overall guest experience.

01
Forest-Facing Accommodation

The accommodation is conceived to frame views of the surrounding forest, making the landscape an integral part of the guest experience. Thoughtful orientation and carefully positioned openings establish a visual connection with nature, allowing guests to observe the wilderness from the comfort and privacy of their rooms.

02
Sustainable & Locally Rooted Development

The design draws inspiration from local architectural traditions, regional materials, and the cultural identity of Sasan Gir. By exploring local craftsmanship, skills, and resources, the project aims to support community livelihoods while fostering a more context-sensitive approach to hospitality development.

03
Tranquillity In The Wilderness

Beyond the excitement of wildlife exploration, the resort is envisioned as a place of rest and renewal. A considered relationship between built spaces, natural surroundings, and outdoor experiences creates a peaceful retreat where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the quiet rhythms of the forest.
