The Stacked House
A contemporary home balancing openness and retreat through layered planning, filtered light, and warm material expression.
The architectural language was developed as a sequence of carefully proportioned volumes that establish presence without excess. Rather than relying on scale alone, the design uses sectional relationships, framed views, and measured transitions between social and private realms.
Warm materials, filtered daylight, and calibrated openings help the home feel grounded in its Ambli Road context while maintaining a distinctly contemporary identity. The result is a residence that is visually refined and deeply attuned to the rhythms of family life.
Three guiding decisions helped define the architecture, atmosphere, and lived experience of the residence.
The entry sequence was structured to create a sense of calm welcome — moving from the street through layered landscape and into a home that feels private, poised, and unmistakably refined.
Social, semi-private, and private zones were planned to allow fluid movement without abrupt shifts, so the home can host generously while still offering quiet retreat.
A restrained palette of warm textures and enduring finishes softens the contemporary form and builds a sense of continuity from arrival through every level of the house.
Bellagio represents the firm's high-end residential approach at its most refined: architecture that is elegant without feeling ornamental, private without feeling closed, and tailored to the expectations of contemporary family living on Ambli Road. It is a project where proportion, light, landscape, and material expression work together as one integrated vision.
